Options ROMPaq for SCSI Attached Drives

I want to add the Options ROMPaq to my Proliant 800. My hard drive is DDRS-34560W. It states on the download page (http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/10424.html) "Removed support for the following Compaq drive models:
DDRS-34560W, DDRS-39130W"wWhich is my hard drive. What exactly does "Removed Support for the following Compaq drive models" mean?
Thanks!

Re: Options ROMPaq for SCSI Attached Drives

Hi Carrie,

If it say "support removed" do a search in ftp.compaq.com/pubs/softpaqs for the "supercedes" Rompaq so your drive will be supported and upgraded if necessary. You will see "supercedes" with a rompaq number this is the number to look for , sorry I couldn't give you the exact link but your link shows as invalid when I clicked on it

Hope that helps
