Out of the Box Error on HP DL 140 G2
The CPUs in this multiprocessor system are not all the same revision level. To use all processors the operating system restricts itself to the features of the least capable processor in the system. Should problems occur with this system, contact the CPU manufacturer to see if this mix of processors is supported.
System Info shows:
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 3 GenuineIntel ~2800 Mhz
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 10 GenuineIntel ~2800 Mhz
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 3 GenuineIntel ~2800 Mhz
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 10 GenuineIntel ~2800 Mhz
BIOS is 1.17,3/31/2006
SMBIOS Version 2.33
OS Name Microsoft(R) Windows(R) Server 2003, Standard Edition R2
Version 5.2.3790 Service Pack 1 Build 3790
This has been occurring after reboot since day one. Any Ideas on a setting in the BIOS perhaps?

Re: Out of the Box Error on HP DL 140 G2
Hi,
In current condition, we dont have latest bios also. so we can try to put the processor with loset stepping level in socket 1-2 then check it.. might work.
You have latest bios where in some senarios latest bios helped many people.
Because Microsoft cannot help in his. either we need to have bios fix or try to put in combination so it might work.
