P400i Firmware Upgrade to 5.26B
Hello,
Upgrading from 2.10 to 5.26B using the online firmware cp010460.exe. Freeze the server to the point that we have to reboot. Any known issue that we should be aware.

Re: P400i Firmware Upgrade to 5.26B
Hi, did it freeze during the upgrade or after?
Might be worth trying to do the upgrade in smaller steps..
Did you upgrade the BIOS on the server as well?
"Updating the HP DL360G5 System ROM to revision P58 3/9/08 or higher is required in addition to updating to this HP Smart Array firmware revision for the modified shutdown sequence to ensure sufficient time for HDD head parking of internal HDDs."

Re: P400i Firmware Upgrade to 5.26B
It's the 4th wave of PSP upgrade that we are about to perform. My online firmware are always located at the end of the PSP CMD. Always work like a charm. It will be the first wave of PSP upgrade on G5. PSP8.25 with all the Firmware at end...no reboot in between. It did freeze during the upgrade of the P400i....You reboot...restart the PSP/Firmware CMD...and it complete fine. The BIOS got applied first 2008.11.01 (succeed) then it's the P400 and the ILO. DL380 G5. Thanks for your help.
