P410 with DL380 G5
Is there anyone who can point me to the right link in HP where a DL380 G5 is fully compatible with a P410 Smart Array Controller? I don't see any on HP Support site.
Please help.

Re: P410 with DL380 G5
And why is it that P410 is not supported in DL380 G5 while P400 is. Or is it not yet supported by maybe it will later?

Re: P410 with DL380 G5
Has anybody seen hard number of the actual performance difference between G6 and G3?
I think if your not using SSD the difference could very well be minimal.

Re: P410 with DL380 G5
Your info makes sense. I'll take this one as the nearest answer to my query so far.
So if that is the case that DL380 G5 is using PCI-E 1.0 and that 6G SAS can only run on a PCI-E 2.0, then HP specs team should remove the SAS 6G Hard drives as options on both DL380 G5 servers and P400 SA controller. Coz it just misleads the customer to buying an expensive 6G hard drive but it wont actually run at 6Gbit/sec when used in a DL380 G5 server.
