Re: P410i Redhat 5.4

It will help if you tell us what the problem is. Did you access the offline configuration of the P410i from the bios screen and configure LUNs? You must do this to be able to see drives to install the OS.

Re: P410i Redhat 5.4

Sorry,

I accees ORCA and configure RAID 1 with 2 disk.
Reboot, begin Redhat 5.4 installation and see no disk.

I try with Windows, it work fine. Then i try with Redhat 4 update 8 It work fine too.

My probleme is that Redhat 5.4 can see my configured drives !

Re: P410i Redhat 5.4

Do you have the latest firmware installed? Sometimes boot device issues are fixed by firmware upgrades.

Re: P410i Redhat 5.4

Yes i have the latest fw from the firmware CD.
My mistake was using RedHat 32bit on 64bit cpu. i can see my LUNs now.

But now i have an other probleme, i have this message :Bug 450859 ├в Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml)

Re: P410i Redhat 5.4

hmmmm this may guide similar issue..

* You need to edit two of your repository files: /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora.repo and /etc/yum.repos.d/fedora-updates.repo. Now un-comment all the lines that start with the term baseurl and place a comment before all lines that start with mirrorlist. This should be done for both the above files.

* Now edit your /etc/hosts file and append the following to it├в s contents:

80.239.156.215 mirrors.fedoraproject.org
213.129.242.84 mirrors.rpmfusion.org

Now try updating your system or installing any software via Yum. You will see, the error is now resolved and the error message is not shown anymore
