P420 alternative that supports passthrough mode

Hi.

 

We are looking at the dl380p gen8 to use for our vmware enviroment and we are going to do a proof of concept on vmware VSAN. The problem i've found is that Vmware is recommedning a HBA/Raid controller that supports passthrough mode. The default raid controller in the dl380p gen8, p420i, doesn't support passthrough mode. So my question is are there any alternative to p420i for dl380p gen8 that does support passthrough mode?
