P812 Array Accellerator disabled

We have a P812 controller in an Se326M1 (DL180 G6) and the array accelerator is disabled.

Output from the CLI is this:

   Cache Board Present: True
   Cache Status: Permanently Disabled
Cache Status Details: Cache disabled; backup to flash memory failed
   Accelerator Ratio: 50% Read / 50% Write
   Drive Write Cache: Enabled
   Total Cache Size: 1024 MB
Total Cache Memory Available: 912 MB
   No-Battery Write Cache: Enabled
   Cache Backup Power Source: Capacitors
   Battery/Capacitor Count: 1
   Battery/Capacitor Status: OK

Is there any way to re-enable the cache without rebooting this server? It is running critical storage for VMs.

I would think this is the problem.

Re: P812 Array Accellerator disabled

Yeah we have already replaced the 1GB cache module and assumed the array accellerator would be enabled automatically.

After a few days we noticed the performance of the VMs was still terrible so we checked the acucli and saw the cache is still disabled.

We were hoping there is a way to force enable the cache again from the cli because scheduling another reboot and maintenance window is not ideal.

Hmm, if you replaced it, why does it still say failed?

Did that module also contain the flash?

Yep we replaced both the flash cache module and capacitor pack.
