PAE in Prolian DL 380 G3 Windows 2003 x86

Hi all!
I have ProLiant DL 380 G3 with Windows Server 2003 SP2 R2 x86. It has physically 6,5 Gb of RAM, but Windows can see only 3,5 of RAM. I cant enable PAE in the BIOS. Please, can U tell me in details how to enable it in BIOS?

Server info:
Management Processor Firmware (Active) 1.92
System ROM Firmware-P29 (Active) 2004.09.15

Thanx!

Re: PAE in Prolian DL 380 G3 Windows 2003 x86

yeah, right
Win2K3 Standart x86 (32 bit) support only 4 GB, Standart x64 (64bit) supports 16 GB (not sure, but something like this). i hope you have in stalled Win2K3 Enterprise Edition.
so put the parameter /PAE in the c:\boot.ini (c: - system disk, if system disk has different letter, edit it) add /PAE in the boot line

Ex:

[boot loader]
timeout=0
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows Server 2003, Enterprise" /fastdetect /PAE

If you enable DEP (maybe NX bit) in the BIOS, and enable DEP in Windows, this will also achieve the same.
