Looking at upgrading a server that has 2 older Dialogic boards installed. The boards are listed as having the universal PCI bus. The new server has the following slots.
ML150 G2
(1) PCI-Express x 4 (available)
(4) 64-bit/66MHz 3.3V PCI-X (3 available);
(1) 32-bit/33MHz 5.0V PCI (available)
I just want to confirm, will the these cards work int the PCI-X? Can a PCI-X 66 MHz card work in PCI-E slot?
The cards are Intel Dialogic D/4PCIUF

Solution
PCIe is completely different from what regular PCI/PCI-X slots look like.
when taking care of the voltage stuff, then at least the 64bit-PCI stuff is compatible regardless of the bus clock.

yesterday I stood at the edge. Today I'm one step ahead.

Re: PCI, PCI-X, PCI-E Compatability with older PCI-Help!
You could contact the manufacturer of the video card.
I did and they were kind enough to point me to the correct ones.
Good Luck.
