PCI Video Card upgrade.
Hello.
I recently purchased a used DL385p Gen 8 with AMD Opteron CPUs.
I read that the maximum the riser cards will support for a video card is 150w.
I only found this out *after* I purchased an RX580 with a wattage requirement of 185W.
I dont have the required power cable that would connect the 8pin power cable from the video card to the 10pin plug on the riser card.
So my question is what will happen if I plug in the power cable?
Will it even power up?
I currently have two 450w power supplies in the machine.
Thank you for any info.

Re: PCI Video Card upgrade.
Hello,
I would suggest the use the supported hardware components with the HPE server. I did not find RX580 this card supported by this server.
Please follow the below documents for more clarification.
