PCI hot add failure

I'm having a problem in a Proliant DL580
My system fails to access the SA 6400 controller placed on PCIX n# 5.
In the system event I find this error:
Event 3 Origin: CPQPHP hp ProLiant PCI Hot Plug A PCI Hot Add operation in slot 8 was unsuccessful because of a device failure.

But this machine HAS NOT PCI slot 8!!!!

Maybe a driver problem
I've installed With Smart Start 7.10
