PIII600EB -> PIII800EB

First of all, I flashed the bios with the last version.

Every time I try to boot the Proliant with the PIII800EB, the server reboot as soon as the bios of the scsi card should appear.
After 20 seconds, the server restart and it's all the same ....
But everything seems to be ok with the original PIII600EB.
So what can I do ??

Re: PIII600EB -> PIII800EB

Are you using the integrated scsi controller, or an add-on controller? What operating system do you have loaded? What's attached to the scsi controller?

Re: PIII600EB -> PIII800EB

I'm using the compaq scsi controller.
I don't have any HDD connected to the controller.

Re: PIII600EB -> PIII800EB

Do you mean you do not have any drives attached to the integrated array controller? Do you intend to attach drives to it (if not, remove it - it doesn't work right without a load)?

Re: PIII600EB -> PIII800EB

When the server will boot properly, I will add some HDD ....
I tested with a PIII600E ans a PIII600EB and it was OK.
Why does the server shutdown just at the scsi card boot ???
Is it because of my PIII800EB which is a FCPGA model? I use an FCPGA -> Slot 1 adapter.
