PL 1600 W2K Server Installation

In the beggining of the installation of W2K Server it asks for "Specify additional device". Does Compaq support this file ?

My server is a PL 1600 PII 266 with 5 disks 9.2 GB each and Compaq Smart Controller 3200.

I don't have any Smart Start CD's.

Hello Marcelo,
W2K has built in support for SA3200 so you dont need to specigy any devices. Please also update the system bios and the firmware version of SA3200. For updating system bios you need SP15911 and for the SA3200 controller you need SP19677. These softpaqs can be downloaded from our website.
As for as Smart Start CD is concerned you can always order it by calling 1-800-573-1099. Please make sure you ask for version 5.5.
