Hello Folks,
We upg our PL3000 cpu from 300 to 333. We decided to increase RAM from 512 to 1GB but system sees 512 only. The system ROM is uptodate. Do we have to change the Mother Board as well or what is the solution.
Thanks

Solution
Hello Matt,
You dont need to change the Mother Board in the system since there is a limitation on those system for 512MB of RAM. It's the CPU which limits the amount of RAM on those Boards. Therefore, do not replace the mother board 'cos there is nothing wrong with it.
Cheers,
