PL350 G3 Windows SBS 2003 Search Error

I receive the following error trying a SEARCH in Windows. (Right Click START | SEARCH):

Cannot find'::{e17d4f0-5564-11d1-83f2-00a0c90dc849}'. Make sure path or Internet address is correct.

The message will repeat itself when you try to search for something followed by:

Unexpected error, Action cound not be completed.

The first server I configured in December got this message and still has not been resolved. I figured it was unique, but I've just configured second server with identical hardware and NOS and get the same error.

Re: PL350 G3 Windows SBS 2003 Search Error

hi,

the error seems to point to Knowledge Base Q17800 at:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q178000

which only happens to version below IE 5.5 and it has to do with Web page's language.

regards.

Re: PL350 G3 Windows SBS 2003 Search Error

I'm not sure why Internet Explorer is even being brought up in this thread as I'm not using it to generate the error. I'm using the Windows SEARCH feature. (The annoying little dog companion) Right Click START button and select SEARCH. This is when the error dialog box above mentioned appears.
