PROBELMS ON INSTALLATION

AFTER PREPARING THE SCO OPENSERVER 5.05 ON CPQ ML370, USING SMART START 5.10, WHEN THE SYSTEM RE BOOTS AND BOOT FROM SCO CD, I DEFINE THE BOOT STRING NEEDED FOR SCO "DEFBOOTSTR LINK=CLAD HD=SDSK SROM=WD(0,0,0), THEN IT ASKS FOR THE BTLD DISK, IT READS AND LOADS THE DRIVERS NORMALLY, THEN I GET THIS MESSAGE "Memory excessively framented (in use map full)", AND THE INSTALLATION STOPS BECAUSE IT CANNOT ACESS TO THE OS IMAGE.
I AM USING A SMART 431 ONE DRIVE ONLY 18.2GB U3 AND 128 MB.

Re: PROBELMS ON INSTALLATION

I had this problem on 5.05. Solution is to download OSS604a from www.sco.com and use this to create a floppy BOOT disk and use this to STARTt the SCO install as before rather than booting from the cdrom.
