PROLIANT DL 580 with HP tape drive

i have newly installed Proliant DL 580 server and attach with HP Tape drive ..drive is successfully installed ,seen in device manager ..want to know how to save data in tape ..i didnt find any interface .i had run windows 2008 backup utility to take backup but didnt find the destination tape..can any budy help me out please
