Hi,
I have a few questions. Im new at this and i need some clues.
I have an Proliant DL380 G5 and i need to connect it to my StorageWorks MSA2000. StorageWorks have an mini SAS port then i need to connect it to SAS port on my PROLIANT but i don't have any port SAS on the back panel on my Proliant obviously i need the card for this.
Which card is, how can i obtain an exact model that works for my Proliant DL380 G5 ?
Adding this Card will affect the current SAS disks installed on the server ?
Server : HP PROLIANT DL380 G5 E5405
StorageWorks : HP StorageWorks MSA2000
Thanks !

Re: PROLIANT DL380 G5 + StorageWorks MSA2000 What i need to make it works
All have SAS connectors for expansion boxes, not servers.
There are host connections available for FS, SAS, iSCSI and combinations.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
