PROLIANT DL580 - 4 processors??!

This is my first experience with a server - so forgive my ignorance.

My Proliant has two processors... but it has four slots. Will it hurt the computer to pull the processors out of the other one and have four in this machine? Was it made for that?

Yes, DL580's are built to use four processors.
