Re: PROLIANT ML330
Nelson,
Si puedes instalar HDD mas grandes a tu servidor. De hecho el numero de parte de los HDD de 36 GB compatibles son:
176497-B21
36.4-GB Wide Ultra3 SCSI 10,000 rpm Non-Hot Plug Drive (1")
Pero no se de la disponibilidad en tu distribuidor local.
Espero haberte ayudado.
Saludos
Jose David

Re: PROLIANT ML330
Hi NELSON ,
If you want to install 36 GB hdd in the server please follow the following procedure.
Activity 1: The Server is having 9 GB hdd. Set the IRQ value 3
Activity 2: The Additional 36 GB hdd set the IRQ value 5
Activity 3: The 9 GB is a primary hdd and 36 GB is the Secondary hdd ,then if you boot the primary disk and make mirroring. So in this case the remaining 27 GB on the secondary hdd ,could you create Addition logical drive. Hence your PRIMARY Partition data├в s are Safe.
Good luck
Thanks and Regards
Suresh
