Re: PROLIANT ML350 G5

I think its not compatible because:
Option Part# 512545-b21
Spare Part# 512743-001
Hot-Plug 72GB 6G 15K rpm, SFF 2.5" Dual-Port SAS hard drive

Spare Part# 434916-001
Hot-Plug 72GB 3G 10K rpm, SFF 2.5" Single-Port SAS hard drive

It also depends weather the smart array controller supports 6G.

Refer to ML350 G5 quickspecs

6G SAS is just version 2.0 of SAS.
If you just make sure the firmware is updated I dont think you will get any problems.

The disk will probably just step down to 3Gbit/s mode.

Re: PROLIANT ML350 G5

Ok.
Thanks to all !
I've thinking tu buy 512545, because i've found only refurbished Hdd with p/n 434916.
But if only problem was down speed of new disk, my choice are Ok and proceed.
