Re: PRoliant DL320 doesn't power up after Halt command

Shalom,

1) unplug and replug the server.
2) test if the power button, physical works.
3) Connect to the ilo card if configured
4) Contact HP Hardware support.

Re: PRoliant DL320 doesn't power up after Halt command

Thank you for the fast reply!

I did the first two steps than skipped the step three (the server haven't a ilo card). When re-inserted the plug the server self powered on and emits one long beep and three short beeps. Before contacting the hp hardware supporti want to try to solve the problem by myself (warranty is over... and the server is old...)

Re: PRoliant DL320 doesn't power up after Halt command

Something hardware issue!!!

Try to do refix the memory on the server , if you can do it then only. Otherwise you may need to contact HP H/W support.

Thanks

Try to unplug the power cable.
Press power button.
Normaly, the ethernet leds are now turned off.
Plug the power cable, and press the power button.

If nothing's better => verify the alimentation box, you can test the DC output or try with another one if you have a second DL320 server :)
