PSP and Individual Updates Fail
Environment: Proliant DL380G3
Windows Server 2003 Enterprise
Citrix MetaFrame XPe 1.0 FP3/SP3
I want to update the server with the latest Proliant Support Pack (7.00a). If I try to install the PSP on the server console, I get System Errors for EVERY individual update with no reason why either in the deployment log or Event Viewer. If I try to install an individual update outside the RDU, I get the following error:
HP Package Setup was unable to start the installation program.
Now if I extract an update and run CPQSETUP from the extraction folder, I can run the update.
Now to make things REALLY wierd... I can run the RDU on my local workstation and point it at the server in question and it works.
Any ideas????
Thanks!

Re: PSP and Individual Updates Fail
Hi David,
I'm running into the exact same issue. And the weird thing is, it only happens on some of the servers. Have you found a solution yet?
