PSPs and SIM issue on DL380 G7 with VMware ESXi5.0 update1

Hey all

I have a proliant DL380 G7 server with P67(05/05/2011) ROM.

I have installed VMware ESXi 5.0 update 1 on it. Over the VM I have created 2 virtual machines on which I have installed Windows server 2003 R2 and Windows server 2008 R2.

I have downloaded HP SIM for windows installed as a VM from HP's site. From where can I get PSPs for the same? Also I wanted to know the steps to install these management software on a VM.

Please help urgently.

Hi,

Once you install any OS as VM on VMware, you cannot install PSP into that VM OS because PSP works on HP Hardware and here VM sees virtual HW, it does not recognise any HP hardware.

So I think PSP will not work on VM OS, unless any body has any other thoughts.
