Pair/team different brands of memory (DIMM)?

Hi,

Is there a global (or HP) statement that confirms the fact that different kind of memory may not be paired in a server?

I know that you can insert different kinds of brands but afaik you may not pair/team different kind of brands, am I right on this statement?

There is an official statement, I'll see if I can find it.

Believe it was that as long as they have the same HP Spare part number mixing brands is OK.
