Partition after arrey expansion in dl360
we had a DL360G5 with 3 drivers (72 gb) on raid 5.
This logical unit is separated in two partition.
After installation of a new driver (same capacity) we had made the array expansion using ACU, with no problem.
Now we have the originally two partition and a new partition not formatted of the new size (72 gb).
The question is : there is in your (mine) software the possibility of allocate the new partition updating the size of one of the originally partion ? Or we need some other software ?
In this case have you any suggestion ?
Thanks
Andrea C.

Re: Partition after arrey expansion in dl360
Extension over existing logical drives on the array by adding new drive you can do only if the operating system allows logical
drive extension.
This is also important and when you planing expanion.
Now, you check first the OS capabillity and then expand unused space on proper logical drive.
And ACU is proper tool for this kind of upgrade.
Kind regards,

Re: Partition after arrey expansion in dl360
I can understand that my OS (Win 2000 server, sorry I did't mentioned this information) can't perform a partion extension.
I will do myselft with some software like Partion Magic or Acronics.
Have you any suggestion in this way ?
There will be any problem on a DL360 witch Pi400 controller ? There is any documentation ?
Thanks
