Parts Necessary to Upgrade System
What parts would be necessary to upgrade the Proliant 7000 with a Pentium Pro Processor to the fastest Pentium II/III processor the system can handle? And would I need to upgrade memory from the EDO SIMMS to DIMMS, or would the current memory work as well with the new processor? Looking at the parts list for the 7000, I see a 500 Mhz P3 processor can go into this server, or is my serial number not the type that can take this type of processor upgrade? Can this system be upgraded to Dual P3/500 setup as well?
Thanks
Michel
Thanks

Re: Parts Necessary to Upgrade System
you would need to replace the system board and dimms...
