Performance of P600 and ML350 G3
Hi Folks,
i use an ml350 G3 with one single Xeon 2,4Ghz with an P600 and 4x SATA HDD with 1TB in an Raid5 Array. The Write Performance is 10MB/s if the File is bigger then the Cache. Is this normal or what is the limiter?
regards kira12

Re: Performance of P600 and ML350 G3
Hi kira,
could you share the details of the performance test you have performed?
Like size of the files?
Were you copying from same Array or from any other medium or over the network?
Whether the file were sequential or RAW?
I am an HPE Employee

Re: Performance of P600 and ML350 G3
Hi,
i copy over Network, in the Server is an NC7170 Gbit NIC, the other Box is an DC7700 mit an Pci-e intel Gbit NIC. The Filesize is around 2-3Gbit. The First 256Mb(Cachesize) is writing with 15-20Mb and after this size they write with 10Mb. The OS on the Server is FreeBSD 8.0 i386, the DC7700 is FreeBSD 7.0 AMD64.
How can i test it local?
regards
