Hi.
I have Porliant DL180 G6 server.
Inside.
Motherboard's SATA connected to harddisk case banded cable.

What is this?
Maybe I plug it into the socket on motherboard?

the red marked connector is >Hard drive backplane SGPIO connector< and there should be connected cable from HDD backplane,

SolutionHello,
please check the Maintenance and Service guide for Dl180 G6 from this link:
- from the page 45 you have table "Cable connections"
- table 13 on page 46 contains all conection from the system board
- on system board you marked connector J66 - this is 10-pin Hard drive backplane SGPIO connector which is connected to the 2 HDD backplane on the HDD PCI cage
- check other tables where is described HDD conections based on Dl180 G6 HDD model (4BAYs, 8BAYs, 12bays etc)
