Plug RAID-1 disks in new server
I have two ML370. One of them has failed and I'm trying to connect its two drivers (RAID-1) to the secondary servers. After hot-plugging them ACU shows disks as unassigned, and does not recognize the partitions.
What am I missing?
Thanks!

Re: Plug RAID-1 disks in new server
roaming capabilities allow you to move arrays accros servers with smart array controllers.
thing is, the ml370 g1 have (by default) a Integrated Dual Channel Wide Ultra2 SCSI Adapter.... and this is not a smart array controller, this one do not have roaming capabilities.
confirm which controllers you have on both sides.

JQ

Re: Plug RAID-1 disks in new server
Both have the same Smart Array 641, I'm not using the build-it adapter.
