Plug an old PCI fax card on a DL380 G5

Hi,

Is there any way to plug an old PCI fax card (not express) on a DL 380 G5?

Because of the price of this kind of card, i hope a better solution existe than buying a new one.

there is a riser card replacement

Just check the voltages of the old card as far i know it only supports 3.3v

Hi,

This Riser Card contain only PCI-X and PCI-E slots and I have a PCI card, it's why i posted a message there, because i want to know if a Riser card with PCI and PCI-E and PCI-X exist.

PCI-X adapters and slots are backward-compatible with 32-bit PCI slots and adapters. Only it runs 3.3v.

I don't know that but the slots are not in the same postion on the main board.

So it's possible to plug the PCI card on PCI-X slots but then i cannot close the server and dock the riser card.

The final customer said he want to buy a new one.
