Poor memory performance
I've recently run Sisoft SANDRA memory benchmark (and others) on both a DL380 1GHz and a DL380-G2 (1.266GHz).
DL380 DL380-G2
ALU MB/s=354 478
FPU MB/s=449 496
Memtech indicated an average across all its tests of around 16% faster for the DL380-G2
These are still pretty cronic. I thought the 2:1 interleave would be better. Any info appreciated?
