Poor performance on both NC380T and NC373i NICS

DL360 G5 459959-005 built-in NC373i for LAN + add-on NC380T for iSCSI. Latest drivers and firmware as of today.

I am trying to use the NC380T NIC exclusively for the iSCSI traffic. It's connected through a Foundry fls624 switch(dedicated to iSCSI only) to a Equallogic PS3900xv SAN.

When I enable the iSCSI feature the performance drops from 120MB/Sec to 7MB/Sec using IOMeter. I'm assuming that I missed something in the config but I can't find any detailed documentation on the iSCSI feature on this card. I have an intel dual port nic that runs faster than the card that is meant for iSCSI.

I'm using the NC373i for LAN traffic connected to a Foundry FGS624P switch.

Working from another computer I copy a 2gb file from the HP server with the NC373i and it takes 1:15. When I write to the HP server, it only takes 27 sec. Perfroming the same test to a Dell server it's 40sec and 27sec which is more resonable.

Any ideas where to start troubleshooting?

Thanks

Steve
