Post 1777 - No Reboot without prompting?!
Hi!
Since we had a failure in our external raid (somebody moves away the cables) we cant reboot the server without the post 1777 error and have to press F1 every time!
In CompaqInsight Manager there isnt any error anyway since the cable were connect again! In the Integrated Management Log we reset the failures as "repaired". And the Array Diagnostic Utility doesnt show any error!
Why does the server still prompts for press F1 or F10 on Startup?
What can we do?
Thx for helping!
Bastian

Re: Post 1777 - No Reboot without prompting?!
Please check all cables for bent pins. Usually the POST error of 1777 means that there is a bent pin or a bad cable.
If it still prompts you after checking all pins. Try this. go into the F10 partition and at the first windows hit CTRL A. This will bring you into advance mode. Then go to Sys Config -> Config HW -> Review and Modify -> View and Edit details. Hit page down twice and there you will see Advanced Features. Disable F1 prompt. This will not get rid of the 1777 post message.
