I need to figure out how many AMPs a 3 PS ML 370 uses. I know it needs 2 of the PS's running at all times, but when all 3 are running do they all draw amps? or just the 2 that are powering the unit.
And simularly I need to know what the DL380 and 360s draw. Do both PS's draw amps or only the one powering the unit?
At boot, do all PS's pull amps or just the PS's that the unit will be running on?
Thanks

Re: Power Supply Questions for DL380,360 and ML 370
As far as I know, all three share the current. That way, if one fails (and it wouldn't matter which one), the other two are already sharing the load. If only two supplied the current and one of them failed, that would leave only one PSU supplying the load until the "standby" unit kicked in.
