Power management and NetWare 6.5
I have a ML370G3 with a R1500XR UPS attached running NetWare 6.5 SP1a. If I load the power management agents (tried versions from 1.81A backwards to 1.70) the server begins to shutdown almost immediately. The UPS also powers itself off. I am unable to communicate with the UPS agents using CIM 5.30. Using a Windows server to manage the UPS is not an option. I have the same configuration, but running NetWare 6.0 and have no problems at all.
Has anyone experienced anything similar, if so how was it resolved?

Re: Power management and NetWare 6.5
couldn't communicate with UPS agents either on an ML350 G3 'til I used agents Ver. 182 and it works fine with CIM 5.30!

Re: Power management and NetWare 6.5
Where did you find V1.82 of CPM agents? The HP web site has 1.81A as the latest version.
Thanks
Stuart

I'll give that a try.
