Power off - Power on servers ML/DL - using UPSs

hi guys

is there a way to shutdown severs for example Friday 7:00 at nights and automatically turn on them Monday 5:00 in the morning?

this using HP UPS and hp UPS manager is there an option or the UPS does not work like that? or Do i need any other software

Hi,

check the power manager 4.2 user guide, the section "Scheduled Shutdown".
When you login to HPPM on the left under the home tab.

There you can enter shutdown and restart D/T . This applies to the entire ups, not separate load segments... Rack nad power manager ha the option to shutdown load segments only.
Never tested it, but in theory it should work.
