Power supply for DL360

Hi,

I am purchasing the following profile and need to know if I can use the 500W power supply or do I need to go to the 800W?

(1) Proliant DL360 (G 9) Rack Server/TV Xeon E5 (2620) 2.4 GHz 16 GB (No HDD) SAT

(1) 16GB Memory Module PC3L-10600 1333MHZ DDR3 Registered Dual Rank X4 CAS-9 (Low Power)

(1) 300 GB 6G (10000 RPM) 2.5 Inch SAS Dual Port Enterprise HDD

Thank you!

Re: Power supply for DL360

System board ~ 55W.

CPU 95W.

Each DIMM about 12W

Hard Drive about 12W

HP power adviser is still available at http://www8.hp.com/nl/nl/products/servers/solutions.html?compURI=1439951.

Peak powerabout 186W.

Note: if that is the SATA model you will need to add a SA (~25W) to support SAS Drives.  The base DL360Gen9 has the B140I SATA controler, this does not support SAS drives.   A SAS licence is unavalible for the Gen9 unlike the Gen8.
