ProLaint 2500 dual and Windows 2003 Enterprise
I'm installing W2K03 on a PL2500 with two Pentium Pro/200 MHz processors. Although the server recognizes a MPS Multiprocessor system, I can only see one CPU with Task Manager.
I'm aware that there are some issues with W2K03 and some versions of Pentium Pro and Pentium II, so I would like to know if this is indeed the case.
The server has both CPUs working at boot, and both were also working with a previous W2K Advanced Server configuration...

Re: ProLaint 2500 dual and Windows 2003 Enterprise
This would be my guess. I have a 1600 with 2 300MHz PII's that isn't supported by Win2K3 Server, so you're probably in the same boat.
I've demoted this server to non mission critical tasks, i.e. FTP Server & Firewall Log Database.
