ProLiant 800 (P02 BIOS, dual PPro 200MHz) PCI USB adapter...

Howdy, y'all; hope that we're still discussing these older servers in this forum.

I have one running NT4.0 Server SP6A, and I'd like to add a USB-attached disk as an easy storage expansion option. NT4.0 doesn't natively support USB, but I've heard that there are PCI adapters with NEC USB2 host and peripheral controller chips from companies like Belkin for which NT4.0 drivers are provided.

Thanks for your comments.

eBay would be your best bet IMO.

Have you considered virtualising it onto ESXi on a new box - you can do so using vmware converter, all of which is free-of-charge.

As an aside, if you're in the UK, I'd be very interested in aquiring a working example of one of these.
