ProLiant 8500 with HD 232432-B22

Will the 146GB 10K U320 Universal CPQHD (232432-B22) work with a ProLiant 8500 with a 4200 SmartArray?

Yes, you can install the 146GB drive in the 8500 and yes, the 4200 controller will use it. It will only provide Ultra2 support, not Ultra320.
