ProLiant DL145 Recommendation for Video Card

I am looking for recommendations for a video card to install into the PCI-X riser assembly, supporting 1 PCI-X 64-bit 133MHz expansion slot at 3.3 volts. Would like to get some 3D capabilities if possible. The Integrated ATI RAGE XL Video Controller with 8MB SDRAM Video Memory is doing 2D well under Windows 7 x64. But many application that require DirectX will not run.

I believe it to be G1. The current card is an ATI Rage XL. How does one tell a G1 from a G2 or G3?
