ProLiant DL1600 G6 - Uncorrectable ECC
How do you associate the Module/Board values from the ipmitool print to the physical DIMM modules in the server?
When the 'Uncorrectable ECC' asserts and the system reboots, the health led is blinking red. I opened the case and none of the DIMM LEDs are illuminated.
Also, I am unable to load the the HP Insight Diag SW -- all versions (8.2,8.1,8,0,7.7) hang when loading. Error - 'configuration unsupported' is listed. What gives?

Re: ProLiant DL1600 G6 - Uncorrectable ECC
Hi,
is there a solution for this problem ? Change the memory ? Use non ECC ? A firmware or software solution ?
I have the same problem with a ProLiant DL160 G6 for years. My server has to reboot almost every day now. My company has decided to never buy HP again because we could not get this fixed, even during the server guarantee, I passed many hours on phone with HP technicians, they made me check everything, except memory, very disappointed :(
Thanks

Not enough details provided to suggest something useful, but maybe this helps:
Hope this helps!
