ProLiant DL360 G2 Fan Speed
I'm having some issues with lowering the fan speed on this machine.
I just installed a debian distro (ubuntu 8.10) on it.
After some reasearch I was under the impressing that installing hpasm would reduce the fan speed from 100% to something less noisy. After successfully installing hpasm the fan speed hasn't changed. I still get:
/sbin/hplog -f
ID TYPE LOCATION STATUS REDUNDANT FAN SPEED
1 Var. Speed Processor Zone Normal N/A High (100)
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
