ProLiant DL380 G2 give continuous beeps at power up, no video

Hi, we have a DL380 G2 which obvioulsy has some sort of hardware error. After being powered on in a matter of seconds it starts giving out continuous beeps (beeps about 1-2 secs long, seperated by 1 sec intervals) and will not even give any video on monitor. On further investigation, all the DIMM error LED's are amber. However have tested other known working RAM but still get the same thing. Have searched around for what the beeps could mean but no joy. Beginning to think this could be motherboard, but thought I'd try here before taking the next drastic step of taking out motherboard or replacing any other internal hardware etc.

Any advice appreciated.

hi

well if you already tested good memory modules everything points out to System board but first try clear NVRAM and reseat all components

Hi Colin

Was the DL380 a working machine before? Did you replace all the DIMM? Did you replace or swap any hardware from it ?

Can you give me the PN for the DL380G2 and the PN for the DIMMS ? See if they are compactiable or have you checked yourself if they are in partsurfer?
