ProLiant DL380 G6 w Smart Array P410i (Server 2008) - module battery fail and 1 SAS HDD fail
Hi,
I would like to seek advice from the community. As i mentioned in the post title, i have 1 failed drive and a failed smart array battery (see the attachment). I'm in the midst of ordering the new parts and the sas hdd may arrive sooner than the battery.
So my question is:
1. Can the raid be rebuild once i hot-swap the new hdd eventhough the Smart Array battery is faulty?
2. Or should i wait for the battery first before swapping out the hdd?
Any advice? Thanks is advance.
