ProLiant ML 110 G5 does not want to boot from CD

Hi all

I have 2 ML 110 servers that i need to load 2003 on. The one worked withou a problem. The second one for some reason does not boot from the CD ROM. I have checked the CD ROM, the boot order and the disc that i'm using and all is 100%

Has anyone ran into this or can hep me in some way please?

Heya, maybe the CD-ROM in the 2nd server is faulty? Is the cd-blinking? Can you hear if the cd is spinning?

Does it attempt to boot from it in the POST?

Re: ProLiant ML 110 G5 does not want to boot from CD

It gets to the screen where it is suppose to show "press any key to boot from CD"...the cursor flickers there also but then it goes over to the windows, linux screen or whatever is installed on the server

Re: ProLiant ML 110 G5 does not want to boot from CD

And these disks works on other servers?

Very very strange.

Have you tried to clear the NVRAM or CMOS/BIOS? Maybe that's worth a shot..
