ProLiant ML10 E3 memory upgrade
Hi,
I just bought the ML10 E3 1220v2 server, but I came with 4GB of RAM. So I bought this for it: Kingston HyperX FURY White 16GB (2x8GB), DDR3, 1600MHz, CL10, 1.5V.
But when I plug in the memories, it doesn't start. I read on the user guide and it should support until 32GB.
Could you please help me finding out what am i doing wrong?
Thanks!

Are those Kingston modules ECC RAMs? I guess the HyperX series RAM is more likely to be standard DDR3 RAM (without ECC ...). From the server's specs it only accepts ECC type of RAM. See http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetDocument.aspx?docname=c04111408
For example you may get Kingston ValueRAM 16GB ECC DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) Kit
