Download the driver directly from Intel - works great :)

Re: ProLiant ML110 G7 not possible to install Windows 2003 x64?

Has anyone figured out how to accomplish this?

It is possible to do it, we currently have 2 HP ML110 G7 running Win2k3 R2 64 bit on them.  As soon as I can figure out how that was possible I will repost here, so check back...

Re: ProLiant ML110 G7 not possible to install Windows 2003 x64?

We recently bought ProLiant ML110 G7 with the aim of installing windows server 2003 on it. When installing this OS (win server 2003), when it gets to the point where you you have the options; "CONTINUE =Enter, REPAIRE=R, F3=Quit, the keyboard's NUM Lock key lights goes off and the keyboard will no longer response.

Pls can anyone help me out, to solve this problem.

Have you tried swapping the keyboard?  It also sounds like the usb port gets turned off or disabled,

perhaps you should also consider plugging the keyboard on other usb ports and try again.  Let us know..

Re: ProLiant ML110 G7 not possible to install Windows 2003 x64?

This server will allow the instalment of Win2k3 R2 (or any other 2k3 version for that matter) but it will not allow it to be installed if SATA Controllers and RAID have been configured in the BIOS..

Here's how it worked for me:

HP ProLiant ML110 G7

Windows 2003 R2 64 bit

2 - 250 GB HDD (need to mirror them (RAID 1))

1 - Undo the SATA Controllers at the BIOS (default)

2 - Install the OS

3 - Configure the drives for mirroring via Disk Management  [http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323432]

Re: ProLiant ML110 G7 not possible to install Windows 2003 x64?

apparently the server does not support the installation of 2003. Did you try installing the 2003 OS with the SATA RAID configured in the RBSU (BIOS)?
If so, 1. re-start the server and go into BIOS and undo the RAID, set it back to default settings.
2. Proceed to install 2003 OS (it should work normally without RAID set)
3. Once installed go to Start>right-click Computer>Manage>Disk Management.
4. Follow the instructions on the following link to configure RAID (Mirroring); [http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323432]

Post back, let us know if it worked for you.
