ProLiant ML330 G2 Insight manager error

Yesterday we had this error in the integrated log of Inisght manager.

Blue Screen Trap (BugCheck, STOP: 0x0000001E (0xC0000005, 0x804E3888, 0x00000001, 0x61702072))

I think it has something to do with the HDD. Maybe some of you know what it is? (i tried to google it but no result)

thanks already

Re: ProLiant ML330 G2 Insight manager error

Hi Mikel,

In most instances, I have seen this trap to be associated with the Smart Array Controller.

Just to confirm, could you check the Windows Event Log (System) for any events associated with Source "Cpqcisse" or cpqcissm" during the time of the trap.

In genral would recommend to update the Smart Array controller Driver and Firmware.

Prabhu

Re: ProLiant ML330 G2 Insight manager error

First of all, this is caused by a Windows crash, a blue screen. It is highly unlikely that this is caused by hardware.

Second, your screenshot is from Compaq Insight Manager that was discontinued in 2000. You are using software that doesn't understand your server model (ML330 G2). You are missing potentially important details, such as real hard disk errors, using this old software.

Current software is HP Systems Insight Manager:
